Eventscripts Server Crash Script

Guy gets petty revenge on a 'douche' server owner with a script that nuked the server's ping instead of hijacking rcon — and the thread lived on for 8+ pages and 200+ 'unhide thx' replies.

In the Counter-Strike: Source Materials/Scripts section, member lightsora posted a hidden Eventscripts snippet originally meant to hack a rival server's rcon password out of spite, which instead spiked ping and crashed the server for over 14 minutes. The actual code sat behind a spoiler tag, so the thread's real content quickly became hundreds of one-word replies over many months (mid-2009 into 2010) with members just saying 'unhide', 'thx', or 'ty' to reveal the hidden script. It's a classic example of a hide-tag bump thread — low substance, extremely long lifespan, and a good snapshot of the CSS 'skid' scene's casual attitude toward messing with servers.
