[Scammer] zEpp — Market Place scammer report

The $2 Steam account hustle finally caught up with zEpp, and the whole board piled on.

Mystery121 opened a scammer report against zEpp, alleging he paid for 7 game accounts (MW2, L4D2, CSS) but only received 5 before zEpp blocked him and dismissed the complaint over MSN as just being 'shitlisted.' zEpp defended himself by pointing to his history of giving away and selling huge volumes of cheap Steam accounts, arguing a few complaints were inevitable at that scale. $80 RuneScape account that never existed — cue a Canadian death threat and a scammer banlist entry

Member cixxa accused user bradboo of selling him a fake level 120 RuneScape account for $80, posting screenshots as proof and demanding a ban (plus some over-the-top rage about slitting throats). Other members chimed in with sympathy, warnings about always using a middle-man for market trades, and one poster claiming bradboo had also tried and failed to scam them. A staff smod (SNK) closed the thread and confirmed bradboo was added to the banlist, while founder TuxifieD pushed back on the idea that the site itself was responsible for a member-to-member scam.

A single buyer, Sinista, chimed in with a quick positive review of an account purchase. Almost immediately after, founder TuxifieD locked the thread and banned zEpp from the Market Place entirely, with no further explanation given beyond a terse moderator note.

Bought a 'safe' MW2 account from mcm — it got reclaimed the very next day.
