Guild Wars Guild Recruitment Thread
One guy tries to start an FKN Guild Wars guild — gets politely turned down by everyone, then scolded for gravedigging his own dead thread a month later.
A modest recruitment thread in the Guild Wars sub-forum where user Cud asks if any fellow members want to team up and form an 'FKN guild' in-game. A couple of members reply, but mostly to decline — one's already guilded, another burned out on it. A month later, a Supervisor drops in just to warn against gravedigging, prompting a dry retort that the whole Other Games section is basically a graveyard anyway. Small, quiet, and a bit funny in retrospect — a snapshot of a niche sub-forum nobody was really using.
hey , i play guild wars and am looking for a guild, so i am thinking any others players on here that would like to make a fkn guild ?— Cud
Don't gravedig please.— DCLXVI
DC bro, this whole section's a grave.— Peski-Ruski
We need some willing coders. To get some Gw hacks
Someone wanted Guild Wars hacks coded from scratch — got shut down fast with a server-side reality check.
A member on the Guild Wars subforum called for coders willing to build hacks for the game, half-joking that the whole GW section should be deleted otherwise. Replies were skeptical to dismissive: one regular pointed out nobody was lining up to code anything and that googling for hacks would just get accounts banned, while another explained that Guild Wars was server-side and thus essentially unhackable beyond cosmetic client tricks, with real risk of a ban. The thread fizzled quickly with a dry joke about the FBI getting involved.
Well first off on seeing it is basically impossible to hack GW since its server side. Everything you do will just be for looks it will not actually work in-game.— R4nd0m-Pr0
I know and it will also get the FBI on you.— mystical1
