HypnotickHook v1.0 Release Thread
A 12-page classic CS 1.6 cheat release that ran from mid-2007 well into the fall — until VAC caught up with it.
This was a Releases-board thread for 'HypnotickHook v1.0,' a Counter-Strike 1.6 cheat by 'Hypnotick' billed as an all-in-one aimbot/ESP/visuals package with claimed VAC2-evasion features, originally posted by moderator DCLXVI (quoting user Cheesus's release template). By the time of this archived page (page 12), the thread title had been updated to '[VAC2DETECTED]' — marking the cheat as busted by Valve Anti-Cheat — but new members were still trickling in months later to thank the uploader, ask if the file was safe, and confirm mirrors worked. It's a good snapshot of the era's release-thread ritual: feature list, changelog, install/troubleshooting steps, a Jotti antivirus scan for 'legitimacy,' and a wall of one-line noob replies.

THANKS, IS THAT VIRUS DANGEROUS?— C.U.B.E.M.A.N.

[VAC2 Proof] IfoundnoNameforit Hack (beta01)
A moderator drops a supposedly VAC2/Aequitas-proof CS 1.6 cheat, and two months of "ty unhide plz" ensue — until someone's antivirus starts screaming trojan.
In the Releases subforum of the CS 1.6 board, staff member Shifty. posted a cheat called 'IfoundnoNameforit Hack (beta01)' claiming to be VAC/VAC2/Aequitas-safe, featuring box ESP, player glow, no-flash, and a panic key. The thread ran from October to December 2007 and filled up with the classic release-thread pattern of low-effort 'thanks/nice/unhide' replies from low-post-count members, plus one quoted repost of the full instructions. Partway through, a couple of members reported their antivirus (AVG, NOD32) flagging the download as a trojan/clicker, prompting at least one explicit warning not to use the file — a small but telling moment of scene distrust bleeding into an otherwise routine release thread.
AVG ANTIVIRUS DETECTED A TROJAN HORSE!!!!! Do Not Download This File, it's infected!!!— patattekop
eumh... NOD 32 says that it has a troyan clicker agent ... ? don't think u shoukd use it— quinten
so, if i play on a server with ESC2 or something else that takes pictures of my screen they wont see that i am cheating ? O.O :*— laztic
[VAC2PROOF] Super Simple ESP v2.0
A little box-and-X ESP that half of fkn0wned downloaded around New Year's 2008 — until it eventually landed in the 'VAC Detected' graveyard.
This was a Counter-Strike 1.6 Releases thread for 'Super Simple ESP v2.0,' a basic wallhack-style ESP tool (box and X-ray player indicators toggled with F11/F12) originally posted by DCLXVI, credited to author Jimster480. The thread ran long (5+ pages) with a steady stream of new members dropping in around the December 2007 - January 2008 turn of the year, mostly just saying thanks or asking to try it. Notably, the tool's fate is preserved in the archive itself: the same topic later got moved/mirrored into the site's 'VAC Detected / Not Working' subforum after the site rebranded some sections, meaning the ESP eventually got flagged and detected by Valve Anti-Cheat despite its 'VAC2PROOF' label.

"bons4i" Cheat Release Thread (Closed)
A May 2007 cheat drop for CS 1.6 that turned into two pages of "thx" and "unhide?" before it got locked.
A Releases-board thread posted by member Afteryou in May 2007, sharing a Counter-Strike 1.6 cheat known as 'bons4i' (version 4.0.4 mentioned by a replier). The thread quickly filled with dozens of short reply posts — thanks, one-word bumps, and repeated questions from newer members asking how to 'unhide' or access the hidden download content. Eventually the thread was marked Closed. It's a good snapshot of the classic cheat-forum ritual: gatekept downloads, low-effort gratitude posts, and confused newbies.
Thx man i use ONLY bons4i 4.0.4 ... NO other hack! thank you very much!— Viny
how to download, i cant see any link... Besides the hidden content which i dunno how to unlock or something— Trinkletronkle

[VAC2PROOF] Super Simple Wallhack 3.1
A late-2007 wallhack release for CS 1.6 that got buried in a wall of 'unhide' replies
A Releases-section thread from Fkn0wned.Com's Counter-Strike 1.6 board where supervisor DCLXVI posted a wallhack ('Super Simple Wall v3.1', credited to Jimster480) advertised as VAC-safe with wallhack, no-flash/smoke/sky, and crosshair toggle features for Half-Life 1 engine games. The replies are the classic cheat-forum pattern of the era: a handful of genuine thank-yous and a compatibility question, followed by a long tail of low-effort 'unhide' one-liners from low-post-count members trying to reveal hidden download links, plus one user reporting the tool didn't work. It's a small, unremarkable but very representative snapshot of the forum's cheat-release culture and its spammy reply etiquette.

M4SimpleHackv2 Release Thread
A CS 1.6 wallhack release that ran nine-plus pages deep on nothing but 'unhide plz' and 'thx'
This was a long-running release thread in the Counter-Strike 1.6 section for a cheat called M4SimpleHackv2, originally posted by user DCLXVI, crediting builders like TrainM, h1web, Tabris, and panzer. The bulk of the surviving thread is just later members bumping the old post, saying thanks, or begging for the hidden download link to be unlocked. It later got moved into a 'VAC Detected / Not Working' subforum, suggesting the tool eventually got flagged and lost its 'VAC2 Proof' status. Classic of the era: low-effort one-line replies, throwaway noob accounts, and forum reply-gating around the actual download.

[VAC2DETECTED] seren1ty abscondere r1
A VAC2-flagged CS 1.6 aimbot/ESP release, rated a solid 6/10 by the regulars
This Releases-board thread on Fkn0wned's Counter-Strike 1.6 section posted the first (and apparently only) version of a cheat called 'seren1ty abscondere,' already tagged VAC2DETECTED in the title. Posted by co-manager DCLXVI and credited to seren1ty (with xgx and ZELDA credited for parts), it offered an aimbot with adjustable search area, aim height, smoothing, and a far-ESP plus a smoke-removal visual tweak. Replies are the typical mix of thanks, a broken-download complaint, and a casual community rating of 6/10 from regular scuddzilla.
thought i would just ad this hack is fairly god would say 6 out of 10— scuddzilla
